Client Recognition is ALWAYS Best, but Awards are Nice, too!

It’s safe to say that as communications professionals, we LOVE what we do. And we especially love working with our clients. After all, they allow us to bring our ideas to life. Their delight in the finished product is still the greatest reward of all, but we can’t deny that receiving an award for our work is also a nice form of recognition.

On January 26, 2017, we were recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Pittsburgh Chapter with a 2017 Renaissance Award in the highly competitive New Products & Services Communications category. Our “Catering to Your Needs” sales toolkit campaign was created for our client Gateway HealthSM.

Last May, the Gateway Health Marketing Operations team turned to Mindful Kreative – the marketing communications partner of Gateway Health for over 10 years – to develop a new sales toolkit of marketing materials and introduce a “one stop shop” so sales representatives could easily access anything and everything needed, eliminating individual requests and streamlining the materials process.

To say the Mindful Kreative and Gateway Health Marketing Operations teams were excited about the potential of the new sales toolkit materials and customization process is an understatement. That is why we took this project a step further by rolling out the initiative to sales representatives through the “Catering to Your Needs” campaign. We wanted them to share in our excitement and also showcase how these new tools would make marketing communications easier so they could focus on sales.

The Mindful Kreative team had a lot of fun with this campaign, creating a custom catering box to reinforce the message that Gateway is “Catering to Your Needs” and demonstrating that the new materials are “homemade” and “fresh from Gateway Health.” We even created a menu including creative descriptions of the available materials to further emphasize the theme and encourage sales representatives to really take advantage of the new sales toolkit. Anecdotally, the sales representatives shared they were impressed with the support shown by the Marketing Operations team and thankful for the new materials that would help to set them apart from competitors.

The creation of the sales toolkit and implementation of the “Catering to Your Needs” campaign helped to successfully improve communications between Gateway Health and its sales representatives. In fact, sales representatives continue to reach out to Marketing Operations with ideas for new sales toolkit materials to meet their evolving needs. The Mindful Kreative team continues to help with the development of additional materials as needed to ensure more consistent messaging and design across all markets.
