Point Park University Graduate Student Stacey Federoff Joins MK Team as Summer 2020 Communications Intern

The Mindful Kreative team is very excited to welcome Stacey Federoff as our Communications intern this summer! Stacey comes to us with a Bachelor of Journalism from Penn State University and is currently working toward her Master of Arts in Communications and Master of Business Administration, Public Relations and Business from Point Park University.

Prior to her time with Mindful Kreative, Stacey has had extensive experience in many different aspects of the communications industry. As a reporter at Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, to a Digital Producer at Pittsburgh Business Times, to Public Relations Intern at Carnegie Mellon University, Stacey’s seen a thing or two. She has even worked as a freelance writer, editor and event planner. Needless to say, Stacey is a powerhouse when it comes to communications and has a well-rounded skillset that really complements the MK team!

“Stacey’s resume is really a testament to her adaptability,” said Account Manager, Natalie Schlimmer. “She has an equal amount of experience as she does eagerness to keep learning. I think her industry knowledge and enthusiasm will lend itself nicely to the team and a number of projects we’re working on this summer.”

Stacey is passionate about communications, and always has been.

“I have always been curious, and I have loved storytelling, reading and writing since a young age,” said Stacey. “I’m excited to be gaining my first agency experience at a local, Pittsburgh-based firm owned and led by a team of women.”

And speaking of Pittsburgh, Stacey is a self-proclaimed yinzer with a deep love for the city she grew up in and currently calls home.

“I love its history and quirkiness,” said Stacey. “I love how the geography is bounded by, but also includes, nature. And I love Pittsburgh’s spirit of innovation and progress.”

Although, she wouldn’t mind getting out of the ‘Burgh to explore places like Japan and the UK.

Stacey also loves coffee – black, like her cat Nova – as well as rock climbing, running and collecting records. And her favorite time of year is Halloween. No wonder her skills are so sharp it’s scary.
