The Challenge

With new leadership under Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (CLP) and a move to CLP’s Main campus in Oakland, the 2025 Greater Pittsburgh Festival of Books faced a defining year. With a new venue, expanded vision, and evolving audience behaviors around in-person events, the Festival required strategic visibility, targeted audience engagement, and a seamless experience for festivalgoers navigating an entirely new footprint.

The Solution

Mindful Kreative executed a fully integrated marketing communications strategy designed to drive measurable growth and awareness for the Festival among book lovers in the Pittsburgh region and beyond. Through a coordinated mix of media relations, paid advertising, influencer partnerships, digital marketing, on-site signage, and more, the Festival welcomed 8,000 attendees, a 166% increase from 2024 and its highest turnout since its inception in 2021.
