Making Complex Healthcare Simple and Searchable

AHN Health Highlights Hub

The Challenge

Most healthcare decisions start long before a patient steps into a clinic. With 88% of healthcare journeys beginning online and more than 80% of adults searching for health information digitally, Allegheny Health Network (AHN) faced a critical challenge: how can they meet patients where they are (online) and help them find accurate and trustworthy information?

The Solution

Mindful Kreative partnered with AHN to develop the AHN Health Highlights hub, enhancing patient access to reliable local health information. Our team conducted in-depth interviews with AHN experts and crafted over 70 SEO-optimized articles. This thorough approach ensured the content was accurate and actionable, effectively addressing patient concerns and encouraging them to seek care with AHN.

Storytelling in Healthcare

Healthcare communication requires a careful balance of empathy, clarity, and credibility. With deep experience in the healthcare space, our team understands how to transform complex medical topics into clear, approachable information that patients can trust. The result is content that feels both authoritative and human.

Unmistakably AHN

With a well-established voice and detailed style guidelines already in place, consistency was an essential part of this initiative. Our team worked closely with AHN strategists and in-house creatives to ensure every piece of content reflected the organization’s patient-centered voice of “we see you.” While Oxford comma usage and title capitalization to preferred terminology and dash formatting may seem like minor details to some, protecting them is critical to preserving brand equity.

Strategic Content That Works

Every piece of content was intentionally developed using keyword insights and structured around how patients search for health information online. By pairing search strategy with professional writing, we helped AHN meet patients earlier in their healthcare journey and guide them toward trusted care.
